Flying Lotus Type

First of all, if you don't know who Flying Lotus is, I strongly suggest you crawl out from the rock you've been living under and march to your nearest record store immediately to pick up a copy of "Cosmogramma".  One of my favorite musical acts of the past few years, Flylo is an LA-based producer who makes hip-hop and jazz infused beats that make you feel like your brain is falling apart, in a good way.
I worked up a couple designs for him in response to a tweet about seeking t-shirt designs-- these aren't commissioned, just a chance for me to reach out as a fan of the music and flex my creative muscles in the process.  I haven't done any hand-drawn typography for a while now so this was a good opportunity for that as well.  The designs are basically created from black and white pen drawings that I scan in and color in Illustrator.
