Here are some slightly less ambiguous pictures of the board graphics I worked on for Burton.  Found these up on easyloungin.com so I'm not doing any harm re-posting them hopefully.  This is the first time I've actually seen the color combos they selected, so I'm pretty much in the dark just as much as you.  Ah, the perks of being connected...

I've been asked several times, "Kyle, will you be getting one of these boards for free?!"
After exhaling deeply and stroking my furrowed brow,
I respond with a tepid, "Probably not."

Last summer I interned at Violette Design in Stowe, Vermont, where I had the opportunity to work on a variety of awesome projects for Burton Snowboards. The most exciting of these were two special series snowboards that I designed the die-cut base graphics for. This three-board series was not scheduled to be put into production until later this year, and I never heard whether or not Burton had approved my base graphics.
I just stumbled upon this Transworld video, dated January 28th 2010, which shows the Burton Meat Eater's series being debuted in Denver, and sure enough, my graphics grace the bottoms of two out of the three boards.

Watch the video here:

(Fast forward the video halfway to the end to see my work on the boards for a second or two. Look for the underside of the Road Soda and Sweettalker boards as well as the checklist on the top of the Sweettalker in my handwriting!)

Since these boards aren't available yet I can't post pictures of the graphics..
so you'll have to wait, sorry.

This is a very special series of snowboards and I am truly honored to have contributed. Can't wait for these to hit the stores.
